The Shropshire Hills
Exceedingly popular with residents as well as with those who return time and again to this ancient part of Shropshire to delight in walking, geological interest and bird-watching. Choose to launch specifically for the West side (Linley or Plox Green) or from the South (Discovery Centre Craven Arms) or from the East (Church Stretton). Alternatively, leave it to us and we will choose a launchsite when we know the wind direction, to ensure that you fly over this dramatic and compelling hilly landscape.
LINLEY ESTATE (NORBURY)

From Craven Arms: take A49 north and on leaving Craven Arms turn left on the A489 to Bishops Castle. After about 8 miles turn right to "More, Norbury and Wentnor". At about two miles, there is a sign for the Sun Inn in the hedge on your left hand side. The launch field is directly opposite this sign. If you take a sharp turn to the right you have gone too far and passed the entrance to the field. Turn around and come back. If you are truly lost, and cannot contact us on the mobile, wait at Norbury Church under the yew tree.
