Approaching Shrewsbury from the M54/A5, take the first exit off the roundabout and follow the Bypass around Shrewsbury in a clockwise direction. Go straight on over the next 2 roundabouts following signs for the hospital. When you reach the 4th roundabout that crosses the A488 (the one after the roundabout where Esso/Dobbies garden centre is), take the third exit signed for Town Centre.
Follow this road into the 40 zone which then becomes a 30 zone, go straight over at the roundabout, past Shrewsbury School on your right. Head down the hill and you will see in front of you The Boat House pub. Just before the pub on the left hand side of the road there are parking spaces. If all of these are full, there is a left turning just before the parking lay-by as you are coming down the hill. You can park on the side of the road up here.
Once you have parked, cross over the footbridge next to the Boat House. Be aware that this bridge is known for being quite bouncy. As you come off the footbridge you enter the Quarry Park. We will be launching from the flat section at the bottom of the large grass area in front of you. We should already be on site with Land Rover and trailer when you arrive but in case we have not yet arrived, feel free to have a seat next to the river whilst you wait. If required, there are public toilets at the top of the park next to the large blue gates
