Linley Estates
This launchsite is so special with the delightful West Onny valley, the historic Linley Beeches, ancient larches, and iron age hill forts. Linley Estates lies on the west side of the Long Mynd Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and to the north of the attractive, historic small town of Bishops Castle which is worth a visit too. Whatever the wind direction from this launchsite, you are guaranteed a truly rural and Shropshire Hills flight - into the AONB, towards the Kerry Ridgeway or over towards Corndon Hill, down towards Clun with its stunning network of rivers, streams and brooks.
LINLEY ESTATE (NORBURY)

From Craven Arms: take A49 north and on leaving Craven Arms turn left on the A489 to Bishops Castle. After about 8 miles turn right to "More, Norbury and Wentnor". At about two miles, there is a sign for the Sun Inn in the hedge on your left hand side. The launch field is directly opposite this sign. If you take a sharp turn to the right you have gone too far and passed the entrance to the field. Turn around and come back. If you are truly lost, and cannot contact us on the mobile, wait at Norbury Church under the yew tree.
