Launch Sites
Church Stretton
Nestled at the base of fabulous valleys, nooks and crannies of the Stretton Valley, this launchsite offers the most wonderful perspective on the east side of the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, popular with walkers, bird watchers and cyclists. Don't forget that if the wind is from the West, you will fly away from the AONB and towards Shropshire's unique wooded limestone escarpment of Wenlock Edge. If you are passionate about the AONB, don't forget to let us know; we schedule some flights from a site to be decided according to the wind direction at the last minute simply to do our best to fly over the AONB.
